The Queen Mary and the Aquarium of the Pacific
As a World War II troopship, the Queen Mary boasts antique state rooms, “ghost decks” and a historic look at the adventures of the most famous ocean liner to cruise the seas. There is also a Cold War era submarine docked right next to the Queen Mary that is open to the public.

Catalina Island
Perfect for a day trip, Catalina Island is just a short ferry ride away from Huntington Beach. Along with all the restaurants and shops, there are dozens of outdoor activities on the island such as hiking, biking, snorkeling and camping. There are several wild life tours available, exploring Catalina Island’s bald eagle and wild buffalo population as well as underwater tours of the nearby reefs.
